When visiting the Potala Palace, there is a time limit, so be sure to follow the tour guide's arrangement. The guide will arrange a reasonable time to let everyone know as much as possible about the Potala Palace’s culture and history. Those who like to take pictures should also note that the best place to shoot the Potala Palace is the Potala Palace Square. There is the Yaowang Mountain Observation Platform on the west, where the sunset and night views of the Potala Palace are particularly good. In the middle of the square, the front of the Palace is suitable for taking photos of tourists. On the east side of the square, there is a man-made lake. The reflection of the palace from the lake is particularly beautiful. After entering the palace, you can take pictures in all places except the east palace.
